ABOUT FAMILY APOSTOLATE
Family life is a call to continue God’s mission on earth being holy and focused on heaven in every moment of our life.
The holy spouses Louis Martin and Zelie Martin , parents of St. Therese of Lisieux are the perfect model for our families to cultivate spiritual values and emotional health in a marital relationship. As Pope Francis stated , “ These saints practiced Christian Service in the family, creating day by day an environment of faith and love which nurtured the vocations of the daughters among whom was born St. Therese of Child Jesus. St. Louis Martin and Zelie Martin are the first spouses in church’s history to be canonized as a couple. We are happy and proud to accept them as patrons of Family Apostolate of Mandya Diocese.

Vision
Integral growth of Catholic Families to become a domestic Church, sharing the church’s life and mission by living the Word of God and thus buildup the Kingdom of God.

Home is not the house that we live in but a family united in love.

• Family as a Temple
Family is a place of sacred relationship where God is present. It is the call of Christian families to turn it into the temple of God.
‘’For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building” ( 1 Corinthians 3:9)
• Family as a school
Family as the basic unit of the society and church is responsible for the proper faith formation.
